HMS “Iron Duke” is a British battleship and the lead ship in the “Iron Duke” series, named after Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. It entered service on 12th March, 1914. During World War I, she participated in the Battle of Jutland against German ships where she came out of the battle without losses. The maximum speed of the ship is 22 knots (40.7 km/h). The ship's armament consists of ten 343 mm cannons housed in five twin-gun turrets. Additionally, the ship is equipped with twelve 152 mm anti-mine guns, two 102 mm anti-aircraft guns, and four 533 mm torpedo tubes.
